Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Level One PA Teaching Certification; at the time of offer.
- Familiarity with assessment tools and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Level Two PA Teaching Certification; at the time of offer
- Experience with diverse populations and inclusive teaching practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with state standards and the Pre-K Counts curriculum.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's development and learning, using the results to inform instructional practices.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and provide resources for continued learning at home.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
- Complete state required trainings.
- Maintain high level of job integrity and professionalism while adhering to ethical code of conduct
