The Director of Business Integration leads (directly and functionally) all business integration and implementation activities to ensure the success of the full integration phase. Must have Logistics experience as this this leader will be responsible for maintaining and improving the overall processes, tools and standards regarding how we integrate and implement businesses. In addition, ensure transparency and proactively manage all risks and opportunities associated to projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in M&A, change management, project management, and business operations. The individual will work closely with leadership, functional teams, and external stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the launches align with the company’s strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities:
Business Integration Leadership:
· Develop and refine the Business Integration framework, tools, standards, and methodologies for new business opportunities and launches.
· Establish and implement integration strategies, including detailed integration plans covering cost, routes schedule, risks, and stakeholder engagement.
· Lead cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, IT, Operations, and Legal, to ensure successful integration and alignment with strategic objectives.
Project Management and Execution:
· Define integration milestones and KPIs to track progress and success, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
· Provide leadership and coordination for integration and implementation teams, deploying resources as needed to support project requirements.
· Drive the development of detailed integration plans and ensure the integration of business processes, systems, and technologies with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Strategic Development and Stakeholder Engagement:
· Collaborate with M&A teams to ensure alignment and synergy in integration efforts.
· Work closely with Business Implementation leadership to shape and drive the strategy and initiatives.
· Experience working with fostering relationships with the customer and key stakeholders.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for all integration-related matters, ensuring clear and consistent communication with senior executives, and external advisors.
· Develop and deliver integration progress reports to leadership.
Risk and Opportunity Management:
· Maintain forward-looking risk registers and develop mitigation strategies for identifying risks across all projects.
· Identify and address integration issues promptly to minimize impact on business operations.
· Identify opportunities for value creation and operational efficiencies post-acquisition.
Operational Excellence and Change Management:
· Implement best-in-class integration practices and ensure they are consistently deployed across all projects.
· Work closely with the People Function to manage cultural integration, organizational alignment, and talent retention.
· Pioneer new techniques for improved integration and project management, maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
Qualifications:
· Extensive experience in M&A with a focus on business integration and extensive project management experience.
· Proven track record of leading large, complex integration projects.
· Strong experience partnering cross-functional teams.
· Knowledge of project management methodologies such as APM and PMBOK.
Skills:
· Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and drive results in a dynamic environment.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders.
· Deep understanding of business processes, financial management, and risk mitigation.
· Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
