Yzer is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to join a highly skilled team. The ideal candidate will have senior management experience in a dynamic setting. The role requires outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills and an ability to develop innovative solutions that push boundaries. The Director of Operations will work closely with executives to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company.
Location: Tampa or Texas-West
Pay Scale: $135K to $150K
Shift: M-F Day Shift
Position: Full Time
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
· Manage operational strategies, plans, and policies to support company objectives for day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives.
· Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor operational performance, and make data-driven decisions that analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
· Participate in negotiations, manage budgets, and oversee purchasing to secure the best deals and ensure timely delivery of resources.
· Manage and control the operations budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost optimization.
· Oversee and streamline business processes, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and compliant with industry standards.
· Analyze current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
· Oversee supply chain operations, manage vendor relationships, and ensure quality and cost control.
· Develop and implement strategies that contribute to the long-term growth and sustainability of the company.
Team Leadership and Management:
· Lead, mentor, and develop operations teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
· Draw on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
· Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs enterprise-wide and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs.
· Adhere to the company’s policies and standards and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.
· Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
· Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and alignment with company goals.
· Collaborates with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operations infrastructure of systems processes and personnel designed to accommodate meeting the objectives of the organizations
Risk Management and Compliance:
· Identify and mitigate potential operational risks, ensuring business continuity and stability.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards.
· Managing risks effectively and implementing measures to mitigate potential threats.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years in senior leadership role within Operations.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field.
- Experience in developing budgets and business plans.
- Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.
- Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes.
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, using business management software (ex: SAP, ERP, CRM).
- Experience with E-courier or similar platforms.
Skills:
· Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.
· Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management.
· Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
· Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands
· Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines
