Yzer is looking for a Project Manager 1 to facilitate, manage and successfully implement assigned enterprise projects. This person has overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.
Location: 410 S Ware BLVD, Tampa FL 36619
Pay Scale: $59K to 75K
Shift: M-F 8:30am to 5:00pm
Position: Full Time
Job Responsibilities:
· Coordinates, plans, and evaluates projects using accepted project management methodologies.
· Manages project activities for new business initiatives for the Business Integration team.
· Oversees project costs to ensure that the project is completed within budget.
· Monitors and manages project quality to ensure that project deliverables are acceptable and fulfill the terms of the contract or specifications.
· Communicates project deliverables to impacted groups and team members.
· Compiles and distributes project information, project status reports, and project budget expenditures; provides regular updates to management, project teams, and others of project status and related issues.
· Responds and manages requests for changes from the original specifications.
· Assists in developing project budgets, schedules, work plans, resources requirements, and cost estimates and projections.
· Assists in developing criteria for evaluating programs, proposals, and other pertinent information related to project assignments.
· Review and recommend proposals and bids to management.
· Identify potential project risks and difficulties and design strategies to mitigate risk.
· Assign duties and responsibilities and coordinate the work of project staff.
· Perform related work as assigned.

Knowledge of software development processes is crucial in IT, while understanding methodologies is essential in building projects. Familiarity with project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or JIRA, is also beneficial.
Budget Management
Forecasting costs, managing budgets, and controlling spending to keep the project within financial constraints. Understanding financial statements and cost management strategies is essential for effective budget oversight.
Negotiation
Strong negotiation skills are necessary to deal with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders. Negotiate terms, prices, timelines, and project changes effectively to benefit the project and meet its objectives.
