Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the Accounting Department, for two locations.
- Mentor and develop a great team
- Lead process improvement initiatives
- Oversee AR and AP
- Oversee and contribute to month-end responsibilities including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, income statement analysis, journal entries, and accruals.
- Analyze and monitor certain key performance indicators and financial statement ratios.
- Assure financial records are maintained according to GAAP and provide detailed explanations of financial statement accounts as needed.
- Review payroll and other retirement plan/other benefit contributions.
- Lead special projects and ad hoc analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree
- At least 5 plus years in accounting with prior experience as Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller
- Excellent communication and management skills
- Ability and desire to improve processes and increase efficiencies
- Must have experience with ERP
- Strong Excel skills
- Outgoing personality with ability to interact professionally with all levels of the company
Salary : $85,000 - $94,000
