Position Summary:
As an Automotive Lube Technician, your key responsibilities will include diagnosing automotive issues, conducting routine installations, and performing preventive maintenance. Exceptional customer service and quality workmanship are integral to this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately check and communicate oil levels.
- Ensure proper tire pressure for optimal performance.
- Inspect and refill fluid levels as required.
- Conduct full vehicle inspections.
- Replace oil drain plugs and install new oil filters.
- Clean and lubricate fittings as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free shop environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring clear communication and feedback.
- Document all work performed on repair orders.
- Report any safety concerns immediately to the manager.
- Comply with company policies on vehicle care and operation.
- Perform manual tasks over extended periods, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
- Meet all assigned deadlines.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of the automotive shop industry.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Excellent work ethic.
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Efficient time management.
