The Document Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that all documentation is accurate, accessible, and up to date.
Duties
- Manage and maintain electronic and physical documents using document management systems.
- Ensure compliance with quality management practices, specifically ISO 9001 standards.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records.
- Develop, edit, and review technical documentation to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Implement records management procedures to ensure the proper handling of files throughout their lifecycle.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for documentation purposes.
- Conduct regular audits of documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Provide training and support to team members on document management systems and best practices.
Requirements
- Associates degree in related field.
- Proven experience in document management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, particularly ISO 9001.
- Proficiency in document management systems.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM system principles and experience using design software.
- Technical writing skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for effective records management.
- Ability to perform data entry tasks efficiently while maintaining high accuracy levels.
- Familiarity with file organization systems and best practices for document retention.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
