ZOe Pediatrics is seeking a certified Credentialing Specialist with experience in credentialing physicians and handling Medicaid processes. The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all medical staff members’ credentials and licenses are valid and up-to-date. This role includes advising medical staff on the steps needed for renewal and may also involve researching potential new employees to verify their licenses and credentials.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities:
- Credential Management: Verify and maintain the validity of medical staff credentials and licenses, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Renewal Coordination: Notify and advise medical staff of upcoming renewal dates and necessary steps for maintaining credentials and licenses.
- Research and Verification: Investigate potential new employees to confirm they possess the necessary licenses and credentials.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records, including copies of licenses, credentials, insurance contracts, and related documents.
- Insurance Contract Management: Obtain and manage insurance contracts, ensuring that medical providers and staff are informed of any changes.
- Knowledge Sharing: Provide accurate information to medical providers regarding insurance coverage and answer any related questions.
- Certification as a Credentialing Specialist.
- Experience in credentialing physicians and handling Medicaid processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with medical staff and other team members.
- Proficiency in maintaining and managing detailed records.
