POSITION OBJECTIVE :
Plan, lead, and coordinate all field activities for multiple projects within the Roofing construction industry, including scheduling, Material Deliveries, Material Purchases, Required equipment, collaboration, coordination, and safety within the Roofing & Construction Industry.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the roofing contracting business, including project management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure Project schedules and timelines are being met by production.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality completion of roofing projects.
- Coordinates between project management, field engineering, estimating, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, client to ensure construction complies with plans, specifications and company quality standards.
- Create, maintain, and monitor a 3 week look ahead schedule.
- Facilitates discovery and correction of contract document errors and omissions, and problem solving.
- Plans the sequencing of work and determines manpower levels, material quantities and equipment requirements.
- Lead on productivity issues and monitors work performance and efficiency of company employees and subcontractors to ensure project plans and schedule are followed and project is executed effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external record-keeping requirements, with particular emphasis on accurately reflecting hours worked and proper coding of activities performed on time cards.
- Record all jobsite activities in cloud-based project management software.
- Monitor and control operational budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintains logs and documentation of trainings, inspections, injuries and illnesses, and other safety records.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory and procurement of materials and equipment.
