As a Termite Specialist, you will have a designated route where you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to controlling insects, rodents and other pest involving application of professional products and tactics while upholding EPS' core values. Our Termite Specialist will conduct home and property inspections by identifying potential and actual pest problems, remove unwanted pests, setup and check on laid traps, install Sentricon systems and design further control strategies such as Integrated Pest Management. These inspections will be conducted in crawlspaces beneath houses, potentially confined spaces, attics near the roof of the house, and in climates including hot and humid summer conditions. RESPONSIBILITIES : Maintain service schedules for all customers on assigned route, calling customer prior to their service. Provide excellent communication and people skills to build trust and create positive customer experiences. Inspect / Troubleshoot termite Sentricon systems and wildlife traps as needed to employ sound pest control strategies to maintain a pest free environment for customers on assigned route. Install wildlife and pest traps, apply caulks or other supplies to fill in gaps / holes in the structure of the house, spay installation, use a respirator, and use other construction methods to resolve issues. Communicate effectively with customers prior to, during and after service delivery in order to assess and meet their needs. Continuously monitor infestation / rodent areas and pest application methods (i.e. baits, traps, etc.) after application and communicate progress to customers and operation managers. Respond to customer requests in a timely manner. Communicate in conjunction with sales staff in order to meet client expectations. Ability to read and understand product / PPE labels accurately to ensure that they are properly applied, stored and disposed of in compliance with State and Federal laws. Participate in ongoing training programs to constantly improve upon skill level. Complete and submit service related paperwork in a timely and orderly fashion. Maintain assigned service vehicle, equipment and tools in clean / good working condition. Adhere and abide to all driving laws / company policies when operating company vehicles. Ability to work with limited supervision and complete all scheduled productions stops.
