Commercial Construction Project Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to assist with estimating and project management support across a wide range of public works and federal projects. The position will assist the PM in organizing construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
An excellent Construction Project Coordinator must have the basic knowledge of construction methodologies and procedures and be able to communicate with a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and a high level of organizational skills.
The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

Responsibilities:

• In conjunction with the PM, collaborate with Owners, engineers, architects etc. to satisfy the requirements noted in the specifications for each project.
• Estimating support.
• Assist with development and processing of RFI's, submittal review and processing, and change order analysis.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a project coordinator or project engineer.
• Experience with State and Federal agencies.
• Understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Master level knowledge of MS Office.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Detail oriented is a must.
• A team player with leadership abilities.
• Bachelors in relevant field, desired.
• OSHA 30 and EM385 certification, desired.
• Clear background and driving record.
