Job Title: Server Infrastructure Specialist
Client: Department of Sanitation
Work Location: New York, NY 10038 (This is a 100% ONSITE position.)
Duration: 1 Month (with possible extension)
Job Description:
- The Client of Sanitation is seeking a Contractor to provide consultant services for server infrastructure support.
- Client prefers that the selected Contractor provides services only from resources with the following qualifications:
- At least seven (7) years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux ("RHEL) 7.9 or greater, Windows Server 2016 or greater, and VMWare. This includes designing, deploying, and supporting large-scale Linux/Unix server environments.
- At least seven (7) years of experience with provisioning, deploying, and operating large-scale cloud services (i.e., Azure and Amazon Web Services ("AWS)), with focus on high-performance computer environments, especially with enterprise mobile applications and documentation management systems.
- At least five (5) years of experience with Dell Power Edge Servers, Compellent, VNXe, and Power Store Storage devices.
- At least five (5) years of experience in configuring a SolarWinds system for performance monitoring and managing the system capacity.
- At least three (3) years of experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager ("SCCM).
- Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Directory Service, and VEEAM Backup and Recovery for day-to-day operations and Disaster Recovery.
- Proven experience with researching and remediating cybersecurity alerts and issues.
