Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an excellent dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all kitchen tools are stored properly after cleaning.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and culinary support.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to maintain a tidy environment for guests.
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food service environment such as a restaurant, hotel, or banquet setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration with kitchen staff.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 – 30 per week
