Responsibilities
- Operate lighting control systems and adjust settings as needed to achieve desired effects.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on lighting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with production teams to understand lighting requirements and provide technical support.
- Troubleshoot any issues with lighting systems using tools such as an ohmmeter to ensure safety and functionality.
- Assist in the design and implementation of innovative lighting solutions for various projects.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Lighting Technician or in a similar role within the entertainment or events industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with various types of lighting equipment and control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards related to lighting equipment is essential.
- Experience using an ohmmeter is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
