Biomanufacturing Laboratory Technician

Piper Health & Sciences is seeking a dedicated and skilled Biomanufacturing Laboratory Technician to join an innovative biotechnology organization in the RTP area.

Responsibilities of the Biomanufacturing Laboratory Technician include:

• Perform cell culture activities (cell seeding, thawing, etc), flow cytometry and immunology assays
• Participate in bioprocess activities and decellularization of primary tissues
• Process and analyze experimental data, maintaining accurate and detailed records for subsequent analysis and reporting.
• Assist in laboratory upkeep and maintenance, including organizing supplies, equipment calibration, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow established laboratory SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and maintain a high standard of safety awareness.

Qualifications of the Bioprocessing Laboratory Technician includes:

• 0-2 years of professional experience in a regulated laboratory setting (GMP, BSL2, BSL3, GLP)
• Experience with mammalian cell culture, rt-PCR, qPCR, and flow cytometry
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science related field (Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biomanufacturing, Bioprocessing, Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Microbiology, etc.)

Compensation for the Biomanufacturing Laboratory Technician include:

• Salary Range: $20.00 - $23.00/ hourly, commensurate with experience
