Piper Health & Sciences is looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Technician to support a leading biotechnology company in the Durham, NC area.
Responsibilities for the Data Entry Tech include:
- Analyze, enter and transfer all data from paper-based records into electronic files for various systems
- Performing patient renewals and insurance verifications
- Checking medical record data for accuracy and completeness as well as verifying data sources
- Organize and maintain all data in Excel spreadsheets
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications for the Data Entry Tech include:
- 1 years of experience with data entry and/or customer service roles
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and attention to detail skills
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate's degree preferred.
Compensation for the Data Entry Tech includes:
- Salary: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
