Laboratory Technician

Piper Life Sciences is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join a well-known biotechnology company focused on the research and development of immunotherapy products in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities of the Laboratory Technician include:

• Responsible for performing QC testing of products by performing ELISA assays, immunology assays, western blots
• Prepare samples to run on PCR or qPCR equipment
• Perform cell culture activities and gel electrophoresis
• Create buffers and reagents for controlled lab experiments
• Create and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Perform quality control checks and maintain reagent inventory checklists

Qualifications of the Laboratory Technician include:

• 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory setting
• Bachelor’s Degree in related life sciences field, preferably molecular biology, chemistry, biology

Compensation for the Laboratory Technician includes:

• Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 hourly, commensurate with experience
