Systems Technician

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Technician in the Western Maryland Region to support state and local operations with safety measures and optimize connectivity of public safety networks. This will be a key role in getting communication equipment up and running to support mission critical customers with modern radio technology.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Install, program, and maintain radio trunking or mobile communications equipment for law enforcement agencies
• Provide Systems Engineering support and management for Land Mobile Radio Systems
• Provide modifications to radio equipment and deploy software updates
• Assist and collaborate with the Communications team on logistics for getting sites up and running
• Provide end user experience for the customer in the field

Qualifications:

• 
  A High-School Diploma or GED (Associate’s Degree Preferred)
• 2 years of installing or troubleshooting network of radio/mobile communications equipment
• Experience with L3Harris or Motorola Radios
• DOD, Federal, or Military Communications Background
• Must be able to pass a background check

Compensation:

• 
  Salary Range: 58k-65k with Travel (company vehicle provided)
