Piper Companies is seeking a CI/CD Consultant to join a financial technology organization. The CI/CD Consultant will act as an advisor regarding best practices and industry standards, and be technically capable of performing actual work with our team.

Responsibilities of the CI/CD Consultant include:
- Design, develop, and test on AWS to build a Jenkins pipeline to test and scan the development product.
- Address any upfront issues and roll them through the development lifecycle for products that can be determined to go to cloud and/or on-premises environments.
- Automate pipeline from development to production to fully automate the pipeline for hundreds of on-prem clients.
- Build end-to-end CICD product pipelines to automate objectives such as building, scanning, static code analysis, packaging and publishing artifacts, automated and on-demand deployments and configuration within QA test environments, execution of automation test scripts for functional, system and regression verification, and on-demand deployment and configuration within AMS accounts DEV, RC1, CQA and Production.
Qualifications for the CI/CD Consultant include:
- 5 years of experience in continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) concepts and best industry practices.
- Substantial experience in Jenkins, including setting up and configuring build jobs, pipelines, and plugins.
- Experience working with CloudWatch
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash, for writing scripts to automate tasks in the CI/CD process.
- Experience in Sonatype Nexus repository manager for storing and managing build artifacts according to best practices, including snapshot and release repositories.
- Knowledge in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AWS Managed Services (AMS) such as admin console, ECR, ECS, EC2, S3, etc.
- Experience in Docker containerization
Compensation for the CI/CD Consultant includes:
- Salary Range: $135,000 - $150,000 - Hourly Range: $65/hr - $70/hr **depending on seniority**
