Responsibilities of the Cloud Architect include:
- Develop and implement cloud architecture strategies to support business objectives.
- Design and deploy scalable and secure cloud infrastructures for public, private, and hybrid environments.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud service providers and solutions based on performance, cost, and business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful cloud solution integration.
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs through strategies like rightsizing, autoscaling, and resource scheduling.
Qualifications of the Cloud Architect include:
- 5 years of experience in cloud architecture with expertise in designing and implementing solutions.
- Strong understanding of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Compensation for the Cloud Architect includes:
- Salary: $170,000-$200,000, depending on experience.
