Piper Companies is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join an award-winning, technology-driven insurance company located in Durham, NC through a hybrid work schedule. The Full Stack Engineer will design and implement REST APIs and UIs, enhance software efficiency, troubleshoot issues, and develop testing frameworks.

Responsibilities of the Full Stack Engineer include:
- Design and implement robust REST APIs and dynamic application UIs.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks to enhance software efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain high-quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of unit tests and automated testing frameworks.
- Produce clear and detailed documentation for both internal teams and external clients.
Qualifications for the Full Stack Engineer include:
- 2-5 years as a Full Stack Engineer.
- Proficient in languages such as Node.js, and Java (version 8 )
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with front-end frameworks, preferably ReactJS and TypeScript.
- Proven experience in creating REST APIs from scratch and working with microservices architecture.
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must work onsite 3 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Compensation for the Full Stack Engineer include:
- $70,000 - 110,000
- Comprehensive benefit package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Holiday, PTO, and Sick Leave if required by law.
