Piper Companies is hiring an IT Governance Lead to join a well-established organization located in Durham, NC. This is a hybrid role and will be onsite 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities of the IT Governance Lead:
Cybersecurity Maturity Assessments: Implement tools (CrossComply) to conduct regular cybersecurity assessments using the NIST CSF 2.0.
Requirements of the IT Governance Lead:
7 years of previous IT, IT Governance, Security experience
In-depth knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 and its application in a corporate environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in managing Third Party Risk Management programs.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong understanding of industry IT Governances and Cybersecurity standard
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation for the IT Governance Lead:
Salary Range: $74/hour - $80/hour depending on professional experience

Responsibilities of the IT Governance Lead:
Cybersecurity Maturity Assessments: Implement tools (CrossComply) to conduct regular cybersecurity assessments using the NIST CSF 2.0.
- Policy Development: Help create and update IT governance policies and procedures that align with our strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
- Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM): Help oversee our TPRM program to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify potential IT risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including data protection and privacy laws. Experience with GDPR is a plus.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including IT staff and vendors.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness and understanding of IT governance.
