Piper Companies is seeking a Network Architect to join an established Electronics Manufacturing company. This is a hybrid position and would require you to be onsite 3 days a week in Atlanta, GA . The Network Architect is responsible for designing and optimizing scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions while leading cross-functional collaboration to meet current and future business needs.

Responsibilities of the Network Architect:
- Design and implement resilient network architectures, including creating detailed blueprints and standards.
- Lead large-scale network projects from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery and budget alignment.
- Develop and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategies with organizational goals and provide technical expertise.
Qualifications of the Network Architect:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Network Architect or in a similar role within large-scale environments.
- Extensive knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and hands-on experience with network hardware and software.
- Proficiency in network security practices, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
- Familiarity with SDN, NFV, and network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
