Network Security Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Network Security Engineer for a global leader in audio technology. This role is hybrid, and will require you to be on-site 3 days a week in Atlanta, Georgia. The Network Security Engineer will be tasked with designing and overseeing advanced network security solutions to safeguard the organization's digital infrastructure, while working closely with global teams to strengthen overall security.

Responsibilities of the Network Security Engineer include:

• Develop, deploy, and manage network security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Continuously monitor network activity to detect and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular security assessments and stay up-to-date with emerging threats to proactively enhance the organization's security framework.

Qualifications of the Network Security Engineer include:

• 7 years of network engineering experience.
• Experience in configuring and overseeing firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and various security technologies.
• Deep knowledge of network protocols and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
• Hands-on experience with SIEM systems and network security monitoring tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Compensation for the Network Security Engineer:

• Salary: $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.
