Product Manager/Product Owner

Piper Companies is hiring a Technical Product Manager/Product Owner for a small start up located in Durham, NC. The Product Manager/Product Owner will need to identify product opportunities that empower users and serve the agricultural technology industry. The Product Manager/Product Owner will need to sit on site 2-3 days per week in Durham, NC.

Responsibilities for the Technical Product Manager/Product Owner:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to identify impactful product improvements
• Obtain a deep understanding of the product with thorough knowledge of all features, business rules and functionalities
• Execute product strategy as defined within the roadmap and planned release schedule
• Collaborate with UX Designer to inform and validate that designs meet business needs

Requirements for the Technical Product Manager/Product Owner:

• 2 Years of experience has a Product Manager/Product Owner
• Experience working in a start up environment is a plus
• Experience with external (customer) facing products
• Strong experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Exposure to Figma to review UI/UX designs
• Prior experience as a BA/BSA is a plus

Compensation for the Technical Product Manager/Product Owner:

• $90,0000 - $110,000 base salary
