Piper Companies is hiring a Senior Product Owner for an insurance company located in Durham, NC. The Senior Product Owner will develop system requirements and track completion of development across all phases of the SDLC. The Senior Product Owner will need to sit on site 3 days per week in Durham, NC. No sponsorship is available for this role.

Responsibilities of the Senior Product Owner:
- Help lead other Product Owners with managing the Annuity Policy Admin System, FAST
- Lead discussions with cross functional teams to develop system requirements, coordinate with IT teams
- Refine and document requirements, tracking them across development, testing and deployment
- Directly assist with the policy admin in any area, including but not limited to product builds, policy administration, claims and financial data
Requirements of the Senior Product Owner:
- Bachelors Degree or higher is Required
- 7 years of experience working with IT application support, software or database development or requirement gathering
- Experience leading, mentoring or training Product Owners or Business Analysts in an Agile setting
- Experience in Insurance (Specifically Annuities and Life Insurance) and Policy Admin Systems
Compensation for the Senior Product Owner:
- $110,000 - $140,000 plus bonus
