Piper Companies is seeking a Systems Engineer that's well-versed in Identity Access Management to join a pioneering healthcare team based in Columbia, MD. This is a hybrid position that will require three days weekly in office.
Responsibilities for the Systems Engineer include:
Assist with planning design technology solutions to fit IT strategies designed to address business needs.
Contributes to the development of automated repeatable scripts and orchestration. Scripts used to support automation of operations processes, and data collection for security compliance audits, capacity forecasting and performance monitoring.
Support capacity planning and identifying proactive maintenance on their respective technologies and services to ensure service delivery
Third tier technical support and participate in troubleshooting methodology and often works with cross-team troubleshooting efforts.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring of junior Systems Engineers and System Administrators.
Qualifications for the Systems Engineer include:
Bachelors and/or 6 years of direct experience with Microsoft products, to include O365, Windows Server, Exchange Server, as well as Active Directory
Identity and Access Management (Azure Active Directory, MFA, Okta, FIM)
Privileged Access Management technologies and concepts (Delinea, Centrify)
System Security (Vulnerability assessment and remediation, Anti-Virus, Host-based Firewall)
Experience supporting and working with Software Development Lifecycle (Agile, SCRUM, DevOps), Project Management Lifecycle, and IT Service Management (ITIL) processes
Engineering experience with a broad range of technologies and concepts listed below, have led the delivery of projects for these technologies, and demonstrated technical knowledge as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in several of these areas.

Compensation for the Systems Engineer includes:
- Salary Range: $135,000- $140,000 **depending on experience*
