Piper Companies is hiring a Application Security Engineer (Security) for a large Data Center Company located in Texas. The Application Security Engineer (Security) will be the SME for the application security layer of all products under Platform Technology. The Application Security Engineer (Security) will be able to work remote within the United States and is not able to provide sponsorship.
Responsibilities for the Application Security Engineer (Security) :
- Serve as the SME for application layer security across platform technology products.
- Apply offensive security knowledge to design and implement security controls.
- Develop and maintain security-as-code solutions for application security.
- Integrate security tools into CI / CD pipelines for automated testing.
- Conduct automated code reviews and vulnerability assessments.
- Implement and oversee secure code analysis programs.
- Develop secure coding guidelines and self-service security tools.
- Automate remediation of application-specific vulnerabilities.
