- BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required plus 6 or more years related experience
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., master’s degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience
- Experience must also include satellite integration and test and processing.
- Requires basic understanding of launch vehicle missions, performance and processing
- 8 years direct experience in an in-space propulsion system analysis, build, test or support role
- Lead, coordinate, and participate in the development of propulsion solutions and architectures for a wide variety of space vehicle missions
- Lead, coordinate and participate in the incorporation of new and/or refinement of existing propulsion systems (e.g. propulsion system/component sizing, requirement development and allocation, performance analyses, design tasks, integration, test, verification, launch and flight operations
- Provide expert technical and program management support to USG satellite SPO managing engineering and launch integration effort and prime contractors, with SSC Launch Enterprise and launch service providers.
- Interface with USG Launch Range elements and establish support agreements that meet satellite SPO and prime contractor requirements; collaborate with mission partners and negotiate agreements for shared responsibilities.
- Facilitate negotiation of space vehicle to launch vehicle interface requirements in the best interest of the SV SPO.
- $180,000-$200,000 annual salary *depending on experience
