Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Network Engineer - SONiC Test Lab who can support the testing and validation of SONiC-based network solutions and lead by example in a dynamic lab environment. The ideal Network Engineer - SONiC Test Lab must be willing to work in a highly customer facing and collaborative remote environment.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer - SONiC Test Lab include :

  • Plan, execute, and validate test plans and test cases to meet SONiC testing requirements.
  • Develop and integrate new technologies into a physical and virtual test lab environment.
  • Leverage software skills and tools to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot SONiC products and solutions.
  • Drive requirements discussions, analyze test requirements, build test lab configurations, execute test plans, and document results.

Qualifications for the Network Engineer - SONiC Test Lab include :

  • 3-5 years of strong network engineering experience with a focus on testing and validation.
  • Hands on experience with SONiC test track
  • Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, MPLS)
  • Programming experience with Python and Robot Framework preferred.
  • Hands on experience with IXIA and / or SPIRENT tools is desirable
  • CCNA required, CCNA Preferred
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • Compensation for the Network Engineer - SONiC Test Lab

  • Salary Range : $100,000 - $120,000 annually
  • Comprehensive Benefits :  Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
