Responsibilities of the RF Engineer include:
- Ensured communication systems are ready for 24/7 operation
- Performs operation and maintenance for a ship based marine mobile platform with complex radar and communication systems
- Develops and maintains succession plan while mentoring potential sucessors and junior engineers
- Leads day to day radar support and other projects to support the program
- Assists with contract proposals, configurations change activities, and requirements
- Provides timely status reports to the program and customer
- Assists with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding qualified engineers.
- 5 years of RF Engineering experience
- Experience with Large Phased Array Systems
- Current U.S. Passport with a minimum of 1 year prior to expiration and 3 blank pages
- When required, must be willing and able to be deployed onboard a naval vessel, in the role of Radar Engineer; not to exceed 60 days at sea
- Able to pass a mariner’s physical exam in accordance with our PWS if required by the Program Office
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 12 years of experience. Experience can be substituted for education
- Active Secret Clearance
- Salary: 100,000-110,000 **Depending on Experience and Education Level**
