Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Scientific Compute Engineer to join an established Healthcare Organization located in Philadelphia . This position is  REMOTE, but living within a 2 hour commute is preferred. The Sr. Scientific Compute Engineer will design develop and maintain the systems and software.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Scientific Compute Engineer include :

  • You will be responsible for reviewing and debugging and troubleshooting applications.
  • Managing and supporting parallel filesystems.
  • You will be responsible for performing the migration of data.

Qualifications for the Sr. Scientific Compute Engineer include :

  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Oversee and provide assistance for concurrent file systems, like GPFS
  • Experience working in higher education
  • Familiar with HIPPA protocols
  • Red Hat certification is preferred
  • Experience using multi-cloud computing environments (Azure and AWS).
  • Bachelor's degree

    • Compensation for Sr. Application Engineer

    Salary Range : $130,000-140,000

  • depending on experience

    • Comprehensive Benefits :  Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
