Full Job Description:

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Virtualization Engineer to join a growing team in support of a government agency. This position will be 5 days on site a week, located in Hill, AFB, Utah.

Responsibilities/Overview:

Oversee activities related to monitoring, administering, and ensuring recoverability of and adherence to VMWare standards and policies

• Manage technical infrastructure and application environments.
• Manage and monitor the capture and virtualization of production data.
• Manage the evaluation of server implementations that capture virtualization requirements.
• Ensure STIGs are correctly implemented to secure the virtualization infrastructure.
• Manage the encryption infrastructure for the hardware environment.
• Manage, design, plan, build, configure and maintain the virtual server infrastructure.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Secret Clearance preferred, sponsored interim secret clearance available.
• Security certification or higher
• Bachelor's Degree & 5 years of experience, or, Master's Degree & 3 years of experience.
• VMWare certifications are a plus
  
  

Compensation and Benefits:

• $125,000-$140,000 Dependent on experience
