Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Platform Engineer in support of a long-term Defense project located in Pearl City, Hawaii . The Platform Engineer will facilitate the transition from the current cloud platform to a new environment. Shifts are Sunday-Wednesday 9am-8pm or Wednesday-Sunday 9am-8pm
Responsibilities of the Platform Engineer include :
- Utilize containerization solutions, employ CI / CD tools to host and deploy applications and services
- Implement policy and technical controls to support a multi-tenant architecture (., authentication, databases, backups, and logs)
- Maintain and operate platform and platform related services
- Transition from existing platform to modernized platform with minimal disruption
