Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a TS / SCI cleared Sr. Personnel Security Specialist to support a mission forward program with the US Space Force (USSF ) in Vandenberg, CA . Responsibilities for Sr. Security Specialist :
- Formulates plans, policies, procedures and other documentation required to deal with the operation of SCI protection functions and activities
- Maintain and update the SCI Billet Structure (SCIBS) for the entire installation, and process requests for changes to SCIBS, including analyzing requests to assure proper need-to-know justifications, are enforced.
- Assists with preparation of security plans, reviewing applicable guidelines, and established procedures for all areas of security to include Information Security, Physical / Technical Security, Classification Management, Communication Security (COMSEC), and Program Security
- Working with security systems of record such as the Defense Information Security Services (DISS) and JADE database or the legacy Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)
- Preparing, processing and maintaining personnel security packages for Special Access Programs (SAPs)
- Supporting facility and network security actions, inspections and daily activities
