Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair or replacement of defective pressure vessel parts, such as safety valves or regulators. This role involves demolition and structural fitting, as well as attaching rigging and signal crane or hoist operators to lift heavy frame and plate sections or other parts into place.
The individual must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and work off platforms, utilizing proper fall protection up to 300 feet. They will also be required to hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment.
A minimum of 4-5 years of industrial maintenance experience is required, as well as proficiency in mechanical skills, knowledge of machines and tools, and excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for manual dexterity, good reading comprehension, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They must also have reliable transportation and be willing to work overtime with little notice.
In addition to these qualifications, the candidate should have knowledge of safety practices for operating equipment, as well as experience using industrial hand tools and power tools.
