About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Journeyman Carpenter to join our team at Zachry Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for constructing, dismantling, and repairing wooden and metal objects and/or concrete forms.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, including knowledge of building techniques and form construction. They must be able to compute basic arithmetic functions, measure, mark, and cut equipment and materials to specification.
Key responsibilities include:
• Reading blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work
• Identifying safety risks and precautions required to eliminate those risks
• Constructing, re-enforcing, and dismantling pre-constructed concrete forms
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
