Job Description
Zachry Group is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis which can be based in Houston, TX or San Antonio, TX. The Director of FP&A will be responsible for building financial plans and develop analytical insights that enable Zachry leadership to make informed, timely business decisions. In addition, the Director of FP&A will define the revenue, cost profile, margin and cash that the business unit will deliver while also considering enterprise targets and goals.
Responsibilities
- Drive development of annual and long-term plans for a business unit; manage plan process within operating units to ensure accurate projections and risks
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts that provide visibility into sub-BU performance; scenario plan based on business and market conditions to further pressure test plans and potential actions
- Define right metrics to measure financial performance, setup the right processes to ensure accurate, timely reporting
- Provide the necessary financial information to support major BU decision points (e.g., customer-level profitability and cash flow performance & forecasts, etc.)
- Serve as key financial advisor to Business Unit President while also reporting back centrally to CFO and SVP, FP&A
- Help identify risks within business unit operations and plans that could impact business performance
