Instrumentation & Electrical Planner

Job Description

The Instrumentation and Electrical Planner role will support the site in estimating and planning work. The I&E Planner would partner with maintenance and operational personnel, area planner and projects personnel, to provide detailed planning to turnaround activities in the respected areas for maintenance and project work. Electrical and Instrumentation planning background a plus. TDLR Electrical Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with maintenance team to ensure all shutdown activities are planned and ready for scheduling. Materials are ordered, onsite, tagged and staged as needed in advance of an outage. In addition, all POs are issued for any supporting rental equipment and any services from vendors are in place prior to the outage and delivery dates and locations have been communicated.
• Partner with area operation and maintenance personnel to ensure all maintenance activities are planned, parts available and outside resources are in place.
• Partner with project personnel to ensure that a detailed plan is in place that will aid in the overall execution of project work and aligns with area maintenance activities.
• Perform additional duties as instructed by supervisor.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• TDLR Journeyman Electrician Required
• Four (4) years journeyman electrical experience plus 4 years helper experience
• At least basic knowledge with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work individually and as a team
• Self-Starter
