A warehouse helper will receive, inventory, store, and issue materials, equipment and other construction related item in a warehouse, storage area, and/or lie down yard.
Qualification Highlights
- Must have 1 years experience working in a warehouse.
- Must have 1 years experience working for an industrial construction project in the warehouse or equivalent material handler position
- Must posses all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below).
- Must be able to meet all physical requirements.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Operate forklift when needed to safety load and offload materials.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve with supplier and/or buyer.
- Label, stage, and stock materials in designated locations.
- Utilize scanner device to PMI alloy materials.
- Coordinate and/or execute material deliveries throughout plant.
- Pull materials for customers requested by SAP reservation.
- Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile differences to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Prepare materials and shipping documents for outbound shipments.
- Perform Monthly Team inspections for Warehouse facilities.
- Filing packing slips and other documents for outbound shipments.
- Obtain proof of deliveries from suppliers.
- Source material when needed.
- Create/update requisitions for stock, non-stock, and free text material.
- Coordinating with site SME's and suppliers to obtain material change approvals.
- Notify Maintenance or responsible party on all items that are received that require inspection.
- Keep forklifts full of gas/diesel, conduct daily inspections on forklifts.
- Sample dikes when water has collected n them, and once passing test results are received, drain and lock.

- Must be familiar with basic computer operations.
- Must be able to follow directions.
- Must be able to use tools such as hammers and drills in order to open crated materials received or to crate materials that are scheduled to be shipped.

- Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting.

- May be required to lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
- Will work at slight heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms using the appropriate fall protection requirements.
- Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and leather work boots.
