Zadie's Nurturing Den is a first-class early childhood program located in Summit, New Jersey. We are conveniently located near the Summit Train Station and the number 70 bus stop. Zadie's is dedicated to providing a high-quality early childhood program in a nurturing, inspiring, and academically stimulating environment.

We are looking for highly motivated infant and toddler teachers who will not only love, respect, and value the learning process for the little ones but will also become deeply engaged in the progress and development of each child.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensure the health and safety of the children.
  2. Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.
  3. Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
  4. Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
  5. Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
  6. Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
  7. Follow all center policies and state regulations.
  8. Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.
  2. High energy.
  3. Ability to work well with others.
  4. Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
  5. An understanding of child development.
  6. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
  8. Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.

Salary : $28,300 - $35,900
