ABOUT THE POSITION
Zadig&Voltaire is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Carlsbad Outlet location. This role is pivotal in supporting the Sales team and the General Manager to drive sales and maximize profit opportunities for the store. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the Sales and Management teams continuously aim to achieve all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This position requires excellent communication, organization, and planning skills, as well as a strong sense of commercial awareness. As the second in charge, the Assistant Manager will take full responsibility for running the store in the absence of the General Manager, inspiring and leading the team to deliver a high standard of customer service that embodies the Zadig & Voltaire spirit. In this role, you will work closely with your team to maximize sales objectives with each prospective customer, whether through phone, web, or in-person interactions. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service to every customer, evaluate and coach employees daily to ensure individual goals are met, and maintain the store's appearance at all times. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for reporting all KPIs and demonstrating the ability to manage priorities and multitask effectively. This position offers hourly pay plus commission, with the potential for additional bonuses, as well as a wardrobe and other benefits. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Sales team and General Manager to drive sales and maximize profit opportunities.
- Ensure the Sales and Management team continuously aim to achieve all KPIs.
- Train and coach colleagues to adhere to company procedures and standards.
- Run the store in the absence of the General Manager.
- Inspire and lead teams to deliver high standards of customer service.
- Work with customers to identify their needs and provide solutions.
- Evaluate, coach, and follow up with employees daily to ensure individual goals are met.
- Maintain the store's appearance at all times.
- Report all KPIs and manage priorities effectively.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of Retail Managerial experience required.
- Proven track record in Customer/Clientele Sales and achieving results.
- Focused on achieving sales targets/goals.
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
- Knowledge of team management, training, and techniques.
- Familiarity with Retail POS systems, MS Office, and Google Docs.
- Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and multitask effectively.
- Experience in the mid-luxury retail sector.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
