Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera for project scheduling and tracking.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate construction estimates using tools like HeavyBid.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project, including subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and change orders using Bluebeam.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with contract specifications and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in construction estimating and project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, HeavyBid).
- Familiarity with quality control processes in construction environments.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with team members and stakeholders.
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
