SHIPPING SUPERVISOR
The B2C Supervisor works closely with the Shipping team to ensure B2C and Sample orders are shipped following strict timelines to maintain 99% on-time delivery, as well as processing shipments accurately according to customer order. The B2C Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of the B2C Shipping and Samples teams.

- Process orders using designated shipping software.
- Completes domestic, international and Dangerous Goods shipments/orders per shipping method assigned using shipping software.
- Completes Dangerous Goods shipments per IATA/DOT/IMDG regulations and ZAGG standard operating procedure.
- Ensures orders are shipped within 3-5 business days to maintain successful on-time percentage rate.
- Selects an appropriate shipping carrier based on assigned service level, carrier rates, and best practice.
- Completes shipments per standard operating procedures outlined in training.
- Ensures all packages are picked up by the correct carrier at end of day by following Shipping dock separations.
- Accesses databases in solving customer order issues and customs pricing details.
- Performing and recording daily shipping scale calibration to remain compliant with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all outbound shipping cartons are labeled properly, containing battery products are labeled with lithium-ion battery label.
- Assure accurate inventory management via cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
- Lead Picking Team in accurately pulling needed inventory to support sales/warranty/sample orders.
- Work with other departments regarding upcoming sales, promotions or launches.
- Communicates order issues to Customer Care.
- Monitoring and/or scheduling of trucks for shipping when necessary, coordinate shipping expedites to minimize customer impact.
- Communicates B2C inventory discrepancies to Fulfillment Managers and Inventory Control.
- Replenishes Shipping line inventory by performing movements from B2C warehouse.
- Verifying orders scheduled in WoW have been printed as expected, orders are shipped within 3-5 business days, and reporting errors to Warehouse Management, and the Integration department.
- Coordinate planning and inventory-related aspects for new product introductions and Automation changes to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Monitor automation daily for any issues, changes, shortages, transfers, and other operational needs.
- Maintain Shipping Software databases, printing preferences, and finding solutions to issues surrounding these required Shipping software programs.
Leadership & Development (25%)
- Provide supervision of designated staff by ensuring effective selection, retention, and performance management of shipping team.
- Benchmark and set targets for overall shipping performance and personnel.
- Lead, coach and develop shipping team to drive individual accountability and promote organizational bench strength.
- Implementing timely corrective actions for failures in transactions and processes
- Identify and resolve customer issues to ensure support of demand requirements. Initiate and complete root cause and corrective action of recurring problems.
- Identify, initiate, and lead continuous improvement activities for department efficiency.
- Oversees and assists in maintaining storage, shipping, and receiving areas ensuring they are kept clean, safe, and tidy.
Reporting (15%)
- Ensures all shipping and receiving records are maintained, including files for incoming and outgoing materials and products.
- Reports weekly departmental issues, concerns, or areas of improvement.
- Reports on OOO (Out of Stock) and Aging to Kalamazoo Distribution Management Team daily.
- Updates/creates work instructions or SOPs based on the current needs of the business

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years of experience in Shipping, Distribution Center, or Warehouse preferred.
- IATA and DOT trained and certified in Dangerous Goods
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills: Microsoft Excel/Data entry experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management System.
- Basic knowledge of Shipping software applications such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and USPS PC Postage preferred.
- Working knowledge of the metric and imperial system

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma required. Two plus years related experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for 8-9 hours at a time, type, reach, manipulate computer, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects and boxes.
Employees will be required to lift heavy boxes or objects up to 50 lbs.
