About the Job
As a Warehouse Associate, you will work closely with the Shipping team to ensure orders are shipped following strict timelines, to maintain 99% on-time percentage, as well as processing shipments accurately according to each customer order.
What You’ll Do
- Process orders using shipping software UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and USPS PC Postage
- Complete domestic, international and Dangerous Goods shipments/orders per shipping method assigned using shipping software
- Complete Dangerous Goods shipments per IATA/DOT regulations and ZAGG standard operating procedure
- Ensure orders are shipped within 2 business days to maintain successful on-time percentage rate
- Report order discrepancies to Leadership and/or assigned Customer Care agents
- Communicate ship to address issues to Customer Care for proper delivery by carrier
- Select appropriate shipping carrier based on assigned service level, carrier rates, and best practice
- Complete shipments per standard operating procedures outlined in training
- Ensure all packages are picked up by correct carrier at end of day by following Shipping dock separations
- Access databases (Zendesk, Magento, WithoutWire, and ZAGG Serial Number Database) in solving customer order issues and customs pricing details
- Performing and recording daily shipping scale calibration to remain compliant with standard operating procedures
- Ensure all outbound shipping cartons containing battery product is labeled with lithium ion battery label
- Pick B2C or B2B orders per customer order date, cycle print date, and shipping method
- Sorting B2C or B2B orders from Shipping printer by customer order date and/or cycle print date and shipping method
- Picking B2C or B2B orders using inventory stored on Shipping line
- Pick B2C or B2B orders using customer pick slip to ensure proper SKU and quantity are shipped
- Placing B2C or B2B orders on Shipping processing line per customer order date and/or cycle print date to maintain successful on-time percentage rate
- Communicate B2C or B2B inventory discrepancies to Leadership
- Replenish Shipping line inventory by performing movements from B2C warehouse using WithoutWire
- Build shipping boxes and maintains proper stock levels of boxes to fulfill orders
- Label outbound shipping cartons with IATA/DOT regulated labels when necessar
- Complete Shipping line inventory replenishments per request of B2C or B2B team by transfer of stock from B2C or B2B warehouse
- Assist in physically unboxing units to be placed on Shipping line in appropriate gravity rack locations
What You’ll Need to be Successful
- 1-2 years of experience in Shipping, Distribution Center, or Warehouse
- Forklift certification strongly preferred
- Basic knowledge of Shipping software applications such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and USPS PC Postage
- IATA and DOT trained and certified in Dangerous Goods preferred
- Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management System- WithoutWire preferred
- Working knowledge of the metric and imperial system
- Ability to work in a stand position for long periods of time
- Demonstrated attention to detail and excellent verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills: Microsoft Excel/Data entry experience preferred
