What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at ZAH Group?
The inside sales representative will manage select accounts that require little in person interaction, provide customers with technical support, and manage key sales activities for the sales team including quote maintenance and business performance tracking.
Manage and grow select accounts.
Manage & monitor sales process for key customers (call cycle schedule, point in sales process, maintain contact database, overall customer relationship management).
Administer sampling process.
Price & quote maintenance.
Track & analyze sales and margin performance.
Manage sales process for non-stocked items.
Distribute program agreement development, maintenance and execution.
Provide customers with technical support.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma and one (1) year of sales or customer service experience are required. Experience in electrical, power utility and/or similar industry is preferred.
Must have versatility and flexibility in adjusting to changing business needs and priorities, and strong communications skills, verbal and written. This includes basic knowledge using Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong team focus and ability to work with others, both internal and external to the organization.
Physical Demand Requirements
Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
