Landscape Account Manager Benefits/Perks:

Job Type: Full Time, Exempt

Job Compensation: $55,000 - $62,000 base salary, opportunity for commission, discretionary bonuses, snow removal hours bonus pay

Landscape Account Manager Qualifications:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in the Green Industry preferred
  • Physically able to handle the workload of an installation laborer and have full range of mobility in upper and lower body and be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) and/or a Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License and be insurable to drive company vehicles
  • Proficient in or able to learn BOSS LM Management System
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Proficient computer skills

Landscape Account Manager Requirements:

  • Account Managers are responsible for planning and overseeing a specific project or a wide range of different maintenance and enhancement projects from beginning to end.
  • Interfaces with client and ensures that all of client’s concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Interfaces with subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate completion of their work.
  • Presents all proposal/documents to clients.
  • Communicate promptly with internal field staff to ensure client needs are understood.
  • Closes sales and coordinates job specifics and contracts with accounting personnel.
  • Conducts monthly walk-through with client, identifies and documents any/all discrepancies.
  • Ensures that jobs are kept on schedule and are at or under budget.
  • Interfaces with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of job materials while keeping costs low.
  • Assists with snow clearing services.

Landscape Account Manager Position Description:

The Account Manager must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of commercial landscape maintenance including sales, production, customer service, estimating, training, etc. The Account Manager oversees all interaction with the client and keeps them informed as to all aspects of the maintenance process. The Account Manager grooms the relationship with the client while interfacing with company production and accounting personnel, and interfaces with subcontractors and vendors as required throughout the maintenance process. This individual is also responsible to conduct monthly walk-throughs with the client, resolve any issues discovered therein, follow through to ensure that all issues are resolved to the satisfaction of the client, and ensure all change orders/enhancements are billed properly.
