We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience operating computer numerically controlled metal working equipment and heavy machinery, including cranes, forklifts, drills, and punch presses.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintaining Equipment: Calibrate equipment parts to meet quality and safety standards, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Material Handling: Perform general material handling functions, such as job site clean-up and moving materials by hand, with an emphasis on safety and productivity.
- Operational Efficiency: Interpret prints and sketches to program machine computers, streamlining production processes and minimizing errors.
Key Qualifications
- Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material, as well as walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb.
- Equipment Operation: Experience with heavy flux core wire feed welding and successful operation of hand tools listed under position responsibilities.
