Primary Responsibilities
- Perform daily visual and dimensional inspections of structural steel.
- Maintain welder certification testing per the requirements of AWS D1.1.
- Administer and evaluate weld tests.
- Read and interpret fabrication shop drawings.
- Review and update company control processes, procedures, and specifications.
- Perform testing of structural bolts per RCSC.
- Coordinate and work with outside customer inspectors to perform UT inspections.
- Maintain company Quality Assurance Manual to meet AISC accreditation standards.
- Collaborate effectively with other internal departments including but not limited to engineering, purchasing, estimating, sales, operations, HR and finance.
- Performs additional quality related projects and completes all other duties as assigned.
