Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Equipment Operator II to join our team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating computer numerically controlled metal working equipment, interpreting prints and sketches to program machine computers, maintaining and calibrating equipment parts, and performing general material handling functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cranes, forklifts, drills, punch presses, and other metal working equipment safely and efficiently.
- Interpret technical prints and sketches to program machine computers and ensure accurate production.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment parts to meet quality and safety standards, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Perform general material handling functions, including job site cleanup and moving materials by hand, as needed.
- Adhere to company safety rules and use personal protective equipment correctly at all times.
Requirements
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds of material, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Experience with heavy flux core wire feed welding is highly desirable.
- Ability to work mandatory weekday and Saturday overtime as required by business needs.
